Allan Chapman & James have a dedicated claims team
who have built up an extensive technical knowledge, dealing
with property, liability and motor claims over a number of years.

Under certain schemes, Allan Chapman & James have been granted delegated claims authority settlement of up to £5,000 on property damage claims.  This allows us to fast track smaller claims; ensuring property and equipment are replaced or repaired as a priority.

Under our delegated authority, the team’s knowledge of the Media Industry and types of equipment used, allows us to minimise any losses by repairing or replacing, as quickly as possible, therefore, aiming to avoid alternative hire costs.

We are also aware that many of our Clients prefer to use their own suppliers to repair or replace equipment, when necessary, (companies they know and trust).  Allan Chapman & James actively encourage this and our team can discuss this with you.  This principle applies to both smaller losses, dealt with in-house and larger losses dealt with by Loss Adjusters.

In the case of more technical and larger claims, both Allan Chapman & James and Insurers utilise the services of a Media Loss Adjuster who has extensive knowledge of the Media Sector including Freelancers, Production Companies and Facilities Companies.

When necessary, we are happy to attend site visits, with the Loss Adjuster, when required.
