Our Solo policy underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc picks up technical equipment (both own and hired in), public and employers liability covers for:

• Freelance make-up artists
• Freelance producers

and many more.

The policy offers £3,000,000 of public liability cover as standard on a worldwide basis (including the USA and Canada) and the technical equipment protection extends to include both your alternative hire costs and continuing hire costs in the event of a claim.

Major broadcasters are now pushing for both freelancers and companies to carry Professional Indemnity insurance, particularly where you are operating in an advisory capacity, and Solo can be extended to include this area of cover.

In addition to Solo, we offer a range of policies that protect your income in the event of injury or illness, home working policies and travel insurance, all of which fully cover you for media related activities.
