ACJ attend England Under 21’s International

As a proud sponsor of Colchester United Football Club a number of our staff attended the recent England Under 21 International at Colchester’s Weston Homes Community Stadium.  Visitors, Iceland, put up a strong fight until the dying minutes when they conceded three late goals (all missed by a certain ACJ Finance Director, who left the ground early!).  Final result 5-0 to England and a happy Stuart Pearce.

Together with managing Colchester United’s “CUFCinsure” insurance scheme we also provide commercial insurance and risk management advice to companies across a wide range of business sectors. Please contact us on 01206 500000 or email help@acjltd.co.uk if you have any insurance queries.

Theft of Cabling

We have recently seen an increase in thefts of power cables within the Film/TV industry.  These items can be left on location outside but normally within perimeter fencing.  Thieves have also breached Studio security at Pinewood and stolen cables from trucks parked up at film sets and hire company locations.

Please be very vigilant as these items are becoming increasingly theft attractive in this harsh economic climate.

If you have any queries regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact Nigel Matthews on 01206 500 000 or email nigel.matthews@acjltd.co.uk

Alert - Break-In

STOLEN SONY SRW-5500'S

We were notified yesterday of a forcible break-in during the early hours of 2 November 2011 at a Post Production Company in London's West End.

Two Sony SRW-5500 decks (Serial numbers S010013510 and S010014264) were taken.  The break-in was caught on CCTV but the gang were all wearing hoodies.  The alarm system was fully set and all physical protections were operational.

The gang were in and out of the premises within 40 seconds and were obviously targeting these specific decks.

Please remain fully vigilant over the coming weeks and ensure your Intruder Alarm Systems are switched on when the premises are unoccupied and all other physical security is in operation.  Be wary of strangers who may be looking to enter your premises to check the layout or positioning of equipment such as these decks.
