VITAL INFORMATION UPDATE - ZORA FILMS
We became aware of a company called Zora Films in late November, early December 2011, looking to carry out the fraudulent hire of two Sony PMW - EX3 camera kits, they made contact with several hire companies in all parts of the UK.
We have again been made aware that Zora Films are looking to hire two Sony EX3 cameras from hire companies in Kent and Gloucestershire. No further details on specific names or addresses are known at this stage, however, please be vigilant if receiving hire enquiries from Zora Films.
The names and address we had previously been given were Christopher Grandy and Christopher Davis, working for:
Zora Films
137 Dunraven Drive
London
EN2 8LL
Email zorafilms@gmx.com
Tel 0845 299 6595
Mobile 0797 907 6562
Other names associated with Zora Films include Dr Christine Price. The hirer provided proof of his insurance and bank account details. The insurance documents are definitely fraudulent, they show Hiscox Insurance Company but the information has been amended substantially.
I would reiterate again the importance of thorough hire checks on all hirers, but also in particular on new customers to your company.
Kind regards.
