Fraudulent Theft Update

We sent an alert on the 1 December 2011 in relation to a recent fraudulent theft involving a company called "Zora Films and a Mr Christopher Davis".

The theft involved two Sony PMW - EX3 kits, which were hired from a company in Buckinghamshire.

We have today been advised by three other companies, one based in Warwickshire, one in Gloucester and the other in Kingston Upon Thames, that they have also been approached to hire identical camera kits from Zora Films within the last 24 hours.

The contact details remain identical to that highlighted in our previous alert (copy on our website under News Items).  The requests for all three of  the above companies appear to be identical with the kit being looked to be hired from the morning of Friday 9 December 2011 through to Saturday 10 December 2011 at approximately midday.

We would appreciate it if you could please pass this information on to any other hire companies that you deal with to try to prevent a reoccurrence of the previous loss.  Police have been advised and are hopefully in contact with the hire companies, but we would strongly suspect that many other companies have also been approached within the last 24 hours.
